Music has always been my lifeblood and singing invigorates my soul – but what really fuels my passion is the spark I see ignite in my students. Witnessing the newfound confidence as they discover their voices is at the heart of My Singing Space – a place where vocalists can unlock their potential and sing freely.
My own journey
My own vocal journey started at the London College of Music, where I studied classical music and continued at Conservatoire de musique Populaire de Geneve, where I further explored classical techniques while also learning French and Italian languages. Yet it was my upbringing and childhood in Macedonia that laid the true foundation for my musical education. Balkan music, richly varied and reflective of the region’s complex cultural fabric, incorporates Ottoman, Byzantine, Slavic, and Roma (Gypsy) influences, creating a uniquely vibrant musical landscape. This background not only reinforced my grasp of classical music theory but also deepened my appreciation for music’s emotional resonance.
My approach
Throughout my training, I discovered that the most effective teaching goes beyond just technical drills. Every singer is unique, with their own voice and story waiting to be heard. That’s why I take a personalized approach, fostering a safe and supportive environment where students can feel comfortable to explore. My goal is not just to teach you to sing – it’s to empower you to find your confidence and unleash the voice that lies within.
